When cleaning after fire and soot damage etc. it may in certain cases be impossible or inappropriate to clean surfaces and other objects with water-based cleaning fluids.
The stripping process, also known as the latex process, is an effective and gentle dry cleaning process for a wide range of surfaces. When used indoors, Magic Peel’s active cleaning additives dissolve and absorb soot and other surface contaminants. During the subsequent polymerization (curing process), the dissolved and absorbed contaminants are bound into the latex film that is formed. When the latex film is peeled off the surface, all contaminants are bound in the film, leaving the surface clean and free of soot. Any residual soot can be removed with a damp cleaning sponge/cloth. Magic Peel can be used for cleaning wall and ceiling surfaces, sculptures, selected movable items, etc. and can be applied to surfaces made of natural stone, brick, concrete, plaster, plaster, wood, plastic materials, etc.
