UB20xx M.E.D.™ – Manhole Entry Device

The safe UB20xx system utilizes the strength of polymers in an anti-static enclosure designed for safe discharge of static electricity. M.E.D.™ allows the technician to enter and exit through small manholes while maintaining continuous ventilation. Without this accessory, the flex hose fills the entire manhole opening, preventing quick entry and exit. RAMFAN’s M.E.D.™, which is a tightly integrated part of the UB-Series of ventilation equipment, is quick to install and the new swivel elbow tube facilitates the customization of the flex hose.

By changing the shape from circular to elliptical and back to circular, losses are minimized and airflow into a confined space is optimized, while leaving enough space for the technician to ascend and descend unhindered. The robust polyethylene construction withstands heavy-duty use, making it durable for many years.

The RAMFAN M.E.D.™ system, which consists of three components: M.E.D.™, swivel angle and universal connector, increases
safety by maintaining a continuous airflow.
